Historical Synopsis: Zlatco Grcic handmade the first DDTR model called “The Pulse”, which was first produced in 2001 by Evergreen Electronics. His second handmade edition was the Spitfire No. 1, which became the first DDTR tagger sold to an independent laser tag facility. The Spitfire No. 1 was created early in 2002 and has had multiple evolutions since that first model. The Morita Saw No. 1, created in February of 2002 became only the second lot of laser taggers Evergreen Technologies sold and were the first commercial laser taggers they made. This entire tagger model including electronics, was created by Zlatko Grcic.

The Pulse got a redesigned look in August 2002 as Zlatko Grcic developed a design that resembled Sigourney Weaver’s rifle from the Alien movies. The first Ckaymore designed by Zlatko Grcic was sold on June 2002. In 2003 production was forced to stop for a period of a couple of weeks due to a fire at the Clifton Beach Factory. Later models including the M4, M16 and the Scorpion were all created by Zlatko in 2004 and the release of the Scorpion proved quite successful for DDTR, becoming the best-selling gun in the company history.

Evergreen Electronics changed its name to Grcic Corp Pty Ltd in 2007 and DDTR Lasertag is a subsidiary of Grcic Corp Pty Ltd.
